Guide shall explain the purpose, function, and common drug interactions of drugs commonly used by persons over age 62, including the effects of combining medications with alcohol

Requires a prominent caution statement in at least 14-point type on the first page warning seniors not to begin, stop, or alter medications without consulting a healthcare practitioner

Makes the guide available free on the website and through designated agencies in English and the six most common other languages, with charges only for requests exceeding 10 copies

Requires the guide to be updated as needed to maintain accuracy and relevancy, with an effective date of September 1 following enactment
