Defines "nontraditional employment" as occupations where any one gender comprises less than 25 percent of workers, including skilled trades, computer science, technology, and other emerging high-skill fields.

Defines "sustainable wage" as at least 185 percent of the poverty line, adjusted for regional factors.

Requires public assistance employment plans to strongly consider training for sustainable wage jobs and nontraditional employment opportunities for individuals with a high school diploma or GED.

Mandates that employability plans account for participants' preferences and potential for employment paying a sustainable wage, while remaining consistent with federal and state work participation requirements.

Effective 120 days after enactment and applies to employability plans made or updated on or after the effective date.
