Amends Criminal Procedure Law Section 510.30 to expand factors courts must consider when issuing bail or recognizance orders in cases involving crimes against family or household members

Adds consideration of history of prior acts of violence or threats of violence against witnesses in the pending criminal action

Requires consideration of any order of protection previously issued against the defendant for protection of family or household members, whether currently in effect or not

Requires consideration of any prior arrest or conviction for crimes or violations against family or household members

Takes effect 60 days after becoming law
