Defines "direct care worker" as an employee whose primary responsibility is the daily care of, supervision of, and interaction with residents of a residential facility licensed, operated, or certified by the respective office.

Takes effect 90 days after becoming law, with authorization for implementing rules and regulations to be completed before the effective date.
