Amends Public Service Law Section 66-j to increase the farm waste electric generating equipment capacity threshold from 20 percent to 25 percent of the rated capacity of a local feeder line.

Allows electric corporations to require customer-generators to comply with reasonable safety measures only when total farm waste equipment capacity exceeds 25 percent (previously 20 percent) of the local feeder line's rated capacity.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
