Amends Social Services Law Section 410-x to establish minimum reimbursement requirements for child care absences.

Requires reimbursement for at least 12 days of child care absences within a six-month period.

Sets maximum allowable absences at no less than 24 days in a six-month period, with the exact number to be determined by the Office of Children and Family Services through regulation.

Permits additional reimbursement beyond the maximum for absences due to extenuating circumstances, as determined by the Office of Children and Family Services through regulation.

Takes effect April 1st following the date the bill becomes law.
