Amends Public Health Law by adding Section 2500-l requiring food allergy awareness signage at playgrounds and parks/recreation centers designated by the commissioner as locations where food allergy incidents are likely to occur.

Exempts playgrounds or playground equipment constructed on one, two, and three-family residential properties from signage requirements.

Requires signage to inform children and caregivers of food allergy dangers and include actions to mitigate allergy attack risks, including eating in designated areas outside play zones, obtaining caregiver permission before offering food to other children, and washing hands after eating.

Directs the commissioner to promulgate rules and regulations establishing signage requirements for operators of covered playgrounds and parks/recreation centers.

Takes effect 180 days after becoming law, with regulations to be completed by the effective date.
