Authorizes the assessor of the town of Brookhaven to accept a retroactive real property tax exemption application from the Family Service League for the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 assessment rolls

Applies to property located at 321 Terryville Road in Port Jefferson Station, town of Brookhaven, Suffolk county tax map number 200-228-1-3

Permits the assessor to review the application as if filed by the taxable status date if the Family Service League acquired the property between the taxable status dates and would otherwise qualify for exemption

Allows the town board to grant tax exemption retroactively to the date of property acquisition and requires correction of the assessment rolls

Authorizes the town to refund any taxes previously paid on the property, including escrowed amounts, and cancel any remaining unpaid taxes, fines, penalties, or interest
