Allows the village board of trustees of St. Johnsville (Montgomery County) to adopt a resolution permitting the village clerk/treasurer and code enforcement officer to reside outside the village.

Requires that non-resident employees must be residents of Montgomery County or an adjoining county within New York State.

Amends Village Law Section 3-300 and Public Officers Law Section 3 to authorize this residency exception specifically for St. Johnsville.

This exception applies only to St. Johnsville and does not affect residency requirements for these positions in other villages unless the state legislature provides otherwise.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
