Creates a seven-member Latina suicide prevention task force to examine mental health practices and suicide prevention efforts for Latina New York residents, with members serving until two years after the act's effective date.

Task force members appointed by: governor (1), senate temporary president (1), senate minority leader (1), assembly speaker (1), assembly minority leader (1), and health commissioner (2), with appointments required within 60 days.

All appointees must have expertise in mental health and knowledge of the Latina community, with geographic representation from across the state.

Task force shall study current mental health practices, recommend suicide prevention efforts, determine reasons for high suicide rates among Latinas, hold public hearings, and submit preliminary report within 13 months and final report within 22 months.

Act takes effect 60 days after becoming law and automatically repeals 2 years after the effective date.
