Adds new section 510.25 to the Criminal Procedure Law establishing mandatory bail forfeiture for individuals arrested for domestic violence offenses who violate an existing order of protection.

Applies to violations of orders of protection issued under Criminal Procedure Law sections 530.11 and 530.12, Domestic Relations Law sections 240 and 252, Family Court Act articles 4, 5, 6, and 8, and orders from courts of competent jurisdiction in other states, territories, or tribal jurisdictions.

Defines domestic violence according to Social Services Law section 459-a.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
