Board of Parole must notify victims at least one week prior to conditional release of an inmate convicted of a crime against a family or household member.

Notification must be sent by electronic mail when available, otherwise by certified mail to the victim's last known address.

When victim's address is a domestic abuse shelter, the shelter's director or administrator must also receive notice.

"Members of the same family or household" includes persons related by blood or marriage, former spouses, and persons with a child in common regardless of marital or cohabitation history.

Act takes effect 60 days after becoming law and applies to all inmates conditionally released on or after the effective date.
