Requires school districts closed due to emergencies during Regents examination periods to provide affected students an opportunity to take missed exams within thirty days of the original examination date.

Defines "emergency" as a situation posing an immediate risk to health, life, or property that causes a school district closure.

Grants the Board of Regents authority to select make-up examination dates and locations and notify school districts of these dates.

Applies to all students qualified to take Regents exams as specified in 8 NYCRR 8.2.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment, with necessary regulatory rules to be completed on the effective date.
