Amends New York City Administrative Code to require official signage with reduced speed limits and flashing beacons at school speed zones beginning August 1, 2019

Mandates that 20% of selected school locations must have signs posted in the first year, with the percentage increasing by 20% each subsequent year

Signs must indicate the reduced speed limit and include notice that the limit is in effect only when flashing beacons are activated

Requires signs to be posted no later than the first day of school for each school year

Applies to school speed zones established at up to 50 school locations annually, with speed limits between 15-20 miles per hour for distances up to 1,320 feet
