Increases enhanced residential care benefits for eligible individuals and couples receiving assistance under the Social Services Law

Sets benefit amounts on a tiered schedule from January 1, 2016 through April 1, 2021 and thereafter, with amounts increasing annually

January 1, 2016 to March 31, 2017: $1,427.00 per individual (couples receive double this amount)

April 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018: $1,547.00 per individual; April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019: $1,667.00 per individual; April 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020: $1,787.00 per individual; April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021: $1,907.00 per individual

April 1, 2021 and thereafter: $2,027.00 per individual, with eligible couples receiving two times the individual amount for all time periods
