Establishes criminal trespass on school grounds or children's camp as a class C felony when someone commits criminal trespass in the first degree on property used as an elementary or secondary school, overnight camp, or summer day camp in violation of posted rules.

Creates criminal trespass on a school bus in the second degree as a class A misdemeanor for damaging a school bus, entering without authorization, refusing to leave when demanded, or willfully stopping or delaying a school bus.

Exempts children under 16 years old and authorized school personnel from the prohibitions on entering, refusing to leave, and stopping school buses.

Establishes criminal trespass on a school bus in the first degree as a class C felony when the second-degree offense involves possession of explosives, deadly weapons, or firearms with accessible ammunition.

Effective date is November 1st following enactment into law.
