Directs the Department of Environmental Conservation to disseminate information about hunting, fishing, and outdoor education to promote instruction in grades 9-12 physical education courses, in consultation with the Commissioner of Education.

Requires public secondary schools to provide hunting, fishing, and outdoor education as part of physical education courses upon request of 10 or more enrolled students.

Mandates the Commissioner of Education, in consultation with the Department of Environmental Conservation, to establish a curriculum covering hunting and fishing seasons, harvestable species, license requirements, outdoor recreation opportunities, and the history and benefits of hunting and fishing in New York.

Specifies that hunting, fishing, and outdoor education instruction must be consistent with courses required by the Department of Environmental Conservation for license applicants and approved by both the Education Department and Department of Environmental Conservation.

Takes effect July 1 following enactment, with authorization for departments to adopt necessary rules and regulations immediately.
