Amends Agriculture and Markets Law Section 122 to define "hunting dog" as a dog used for hunting or training purposes in compliance with Environmental Conservation Law Section 11-0923, wearing identification with owner/trainer/handler contact information, and compliant with vaccination requirements.

Allows hunting dogs to be deemed under reasonable control and not running at large if the owner/trainer/handler is on property where hunting is permitted, released the dog to hunt on permitted property, and holds a valid hunting license.

Protects hunting dogs from seizure as running at large by dog control officers, peace officers, or police officers if the three conditions above are met at the time of recovery.

Permits charging the owner, trainer, or handler with violations of local dog-running-at-large ordinances if the hunting dog does not meet the compliance requirements outlined in the law.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
