Adds new section 240.33 to the Penal Law creating the crime of aggravated harassment of a family member of a person in active military service.

Prohibits intentional communications by telephone, telegraph, mail, or any other written or electronic means to a person with a family member in active military service that relate to such military service and are likely to cause annoyance or alarm.

Defines "family member" as the husband, wife, son, daughter, father, or mother of a person in active military service.

Classifies aggravated harassment of a family member of an active military service member as a class E felony.

Takes effect on November 1st following the date the bill becomes law.
