Establishes a shared housing program for New York residents age 60 and older, administered by the Office for the Aging in consultation with the Division of Housing and Community Renewal.

Requires the Office for the Aging and designated agencies on aging to maintain a registry of senior citizens seeking to share living quarters with other eligible seniors.

Mandates registration forms include the applicant's name, address, up to three personal references, and a statement disclosing any convictions within the past five years for theft, assault, force-related crimes, controlled substance possession or sale, or weapons possession.

Restricts registry information to confidential use only for carrying out the program's provisions and requires applicants to acknowledge that false information results in immediate removal from the registry.

Authorizes the Office for the Aging to charge a registration fee not to exceed one dollar per applicant to implement and maintain the shared housing registry.
