Amends New York City Administrative Code to include emergency medical technicians (EMTs) and advanced emergency medical technicians employed by the fire department in the awards program for spouses of employees killed in the line of duty.

Awards to surviving spouses or domestic partners equal the deceased member's annual salary at time of death, but not less than the salary of a first-grade police officer, firefighter, transit police officer, or EMT/advanced EMT at the date of death.

If no spouse or domestic partner survives, awards pass to minor children, and if none exist, to dependent parents or other dependents of the deceased member.

Awards are made in one lump sum payment as soon as possible after death and are in addition to any pension, award, or other allowances authorized by law.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
