SUNY and CUNY boards of trustees must issue a report within 180 days detailing current composition of faculty and academic advisors at four-year campuses and community colleges.

Report must compare faculty and advisor data from 2008 to the current academic year, including full-time tenured, tenure-track, and non tenure-track faculty positions, plus part-time faculty numbers.

Report must include mean and median class sizes by campus and course level (remedial, 100-level, 200-level) for different faculty types in both 2008 and current year.

Report must detail full-time and part-time academic advisor numbers per campus and calculate mean and median student advisee ratios per advisor for both 2008 and current academic year.

Report must be submitted to the governor, legislative leaders, and chairs of the senate and assembly committees on higher education and finance.
