Authorizes the assessor of the town of Sand Lake to accept a retroactive application for real property tax exemption from Stride, Inc. for the 2016-2017 assessment roll.

Permits the application to be reviewed as if filed by the taxable status date deadline, even though it is being submitted after that date.

Applies to parcels located at 4482 NY Highway 150, West Sand Lake, Rensselaer County, conveyed to Stride, Inc. on November 2, 2016.

Allows the assessor, upon town board approval, to grant exemption from all taxes beginning on the conveyance date and to cancel or repay any unpaid or paid taxes, fines, penalties, and interest.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
