Authorizes Yates County to offer the optional twenty-year retirement plan under Section 552 of the Retirement and Social Security Law to deputy sheriff Megan Morehouse, who missed the deadline for timely application through no fault of her own.

Yates County must file a resolution with the State Comptroller within three months of the act's effective date, certifying that Megan Morehouse did not bar herself from participation due to her own negligence.

Megan Morehouse may elect coverage under Section 552 by filing a request with the State Comptroller on or before June 30, 2019, and shall receive all associated rights and benefits.

Yates County bears all past service costs associated with implementing this provision for Megan Morehouse.

Estimated annual contribution increase of approximately $5,000 for Yates County in fiscal year ending March 31, 2019, with future costs varying based on billing rates and the employee's salary.
