Expands automatic sealing of criminal records to include cases where a person is initially charged with any class of offense but ultimately convicted only of a traffic infraction or violation.

Excludes loitering violations and operating a motor vehicle while ability impaired from automatic sealing provisions.

Allows district attorneys or courts to prevent sealing by demonstrating that interests of justice require otherwise, with at least five days' notice to the defendant or their attorney.

Requires courts to notify the Division of Criminal Justice Services and all relevant police departments and law enforcement agencies when charges are terminated by conviction of a traffic infraction or violation.

Takes effect on the ninetieth day after becoming law.
