Amends Penal Law Section 70.25 to allow consecutive sentencing when a defendant is found guilty of two or more felony counts, including previous felony convictions related to sexual offenses under Article 130 or Section 230.34.

Mandates consecutive sentencing (rather than permitting it) when a defendant is found guilty or previously convicted of two or more counts under Article 263 or Sections 130.75, 130.80, 130.95, or 130.96 of the Penal Law.

Maintains existing requirement that sentences run concurrently when multiple sentences result from a single act or omission, except for violations of Section 270.20.

Takes effect on November 1 following the date the bill becomes law.
