Suffolk County is authorized to discontinue use of and convey approximately 9.24 acres of parkland in Hampton Bays (Parcel 43) to the Town of Southampton for park, recreational, and commercial fishing dock purposes.

The Town of Southampton must provide access to the transferred parklands and recreational facilities to all Suffolk County residents.

Revenue received by Suffolk County from the transfer must be used for capital improvements to existing park and recreational facilities or acquisition of additional park and recreational facilities.

If the land ceases to be used for the authorized purposes, it reverts to Suffolk County for public park and recreational purposes.

The Town of Southampton shall maintain, own, and operate the transferred land and facilities, which must remain available to the general public on an equitable basis if capacity is limited.
