Authorizes the town of Brookhaven to discontinue and lease approximately 1.48 acres of parkland to the Patchogue-Medford Library District for establishing a library branch for up to 30 years.

Requires the town of Brookhaven to dedicate an amount equal to or greater than the fair market value of the discontinued parkland toward acquiring new parkland or making capital improvements to existing recreational facilities.

Stipulates that if the leased land ceases to be used for library purposes, the lease terminates and the land reverts to the town for public park and recreational use.

Requires compliance with any applicable federal requirements for parkland alienation or conversion, including obtaining approval from the Secretary of the Interior if the town received federal funding for the original parkland.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
