Requires New York Department of Mental Hygiene to develop and maintain a web-based acute psychiatric bed registry displaying real-time availability of beds in public and private inpatient psychiatric facilities and crisis stabilization units statewide.

Registry must include descriptive information and contact details for every psychiatric facility and crisis stabilization unit, with real-time data on available beds, patient types, security levels, and other relevant admission criteria.

Allows employees and designees of community services boards and psychiatric facility staff to search the registry to identify appropriate facilities for temporary detention and treatment of individuals meeting detention criteria.

Mandates all state facilities, community services boards, behavioral health authorities, and private providers licensed by the Department of Mental Hygiene to participate and designate a contact person to submit and update registry information daily.

Takes effect 180 days after becoming law.
