Removes authorization for the Board of Acquisition and Contract to sell buildings, improvements, and materials on county park lands, eliminating the requirement to deposit proceeds with the Commissioner of Finance.

Limits the county's authority to sell real estate acquired for park purposes to parcels under two acres that are not used as parks.

Retains the commissioner's right to construct, reconstruct, alter, repair, or demolish buildings and structures on park lands subject to County Board approval.

Permits leasing of park property for up to five years when not required for park purposes, upon recommendation of the commissioner and Board approval.
