Amends Public Service Law section 66-j to allow farm operations and non-residential customer-generators with solar or farm waste electric generating equipment to designate net metering credits to meters at other properties within the same electric corporation's service territory and load zone.

Permits customer-generators to direct credits to any "other designated customers" rather than limiting them to their own property.

Removes the automatic credit application method that previously applied credits to the highest use meter first, instead allowing customer-generators to direct how credits are applied to accounts.

Excess credits continue to carry over to the following month.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
