Prohibits sex offenders released, discharged, or placed on probation from any correctional facility or hospital from residing in a community residence as defined in Mental Hygiene Law section 1.03.

Prevents sex offenders who have established residence in New York from changing their residence to a community residence facility.

Denies admission to residential care centers for adults to individuals defined as sex offenders under Correction Law section 168-a.

Requires courts ordering release under strict and intensive supervision to exclude community residences from recommended residence specifications.

Prohibits local social services officials from placing any sex offender in a community residence, effective 90 days after the bill becomes law.
