Empire State Development Corporation shall develop, establish, and implement a public awareness campaign promoting New York state businesses and encouraging purchases from them.

Creates a "Buy New York Online Networking Directory" website where New York businesses can apply for inclusion, displaying business names, addresses, contact information, products/services offered, and operational details.

Directory shall be searchable by business categories and product/service offerings, with results organized by specific goods or services.

Public awareness campaign shall utilize internet, radio, print advertising (brochures, billboards, posters), and may recruit public ambassadors to promote the message.

Campaign must launch no later than January 1, 2022, with annual reporting required to the governor and legislature by December 1st each year on actions taken and appropriations needed.
