Establishes a Historic Business Preservation Registry to be created and maintained by the Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, including an online registry with business names, addresses, and products/services offered.

Requires historic businesses to be nominated by an assembly member, senator, governor, or lieutenant governor, limited to two nominations per elected official per term, with restrictions preventing nomination of businesses owned by the nominating official or their close family members.

Sets eligibility requirements including: 50+ years of continuous operation in the same municipality with no breaks exceeding two years, demonstrated contribution to municipal history and identity, and commitment to maintaining the business's defining physical features and traditions.

Directs the Office to review applications and notify applicants and nominating officials of acceptance or rejection decisions, with written explanations provided for denials.

Takes effect six months after enactment.
