Extends mandatory continuing education requirements to land surveyors and professional geologists, previously applied only to professional engineers.

Reduces continuing education hours for land surveyors to 24 hours per triennial registration period (compared to 36 hours for engineers and geologists).

Allows up to six continuing education hours to transfer between triennial registration periods, down from an unlimited transfer previously prohibited.

Adds exemption for professional geologists employed full-time by New York State or local government entities prior to January 1, 2022, matching existing exemption for professional engineers.

Repeals Section 7212 of Education Law regarding mandatory continuing education for land surveyors and takes effect January 1, 2022.
