Increases the Nassau County Volunteer and Exempt Fireman's Benevolent Association board of trustees from nine to eleven members, with trustee representation expanding from four to six fire companies of the Massapequa Fire Department Inc.

Updates insurance law section references from sections 553 and 554 to sections 9104 and 9105 for collection of foreign fire insurance premium taxes.

Expands the permitted use of collected insurance taxes from solely "care and relief of disabled or indigent volunteer and exempt firemen and their families" to broader uses "in furtherance of its purposes" as defined in section 632.2 of the act.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
