Requires the chief administrator of the courts to annually request demographic information from all judges and justices in state-paid courts, including race/ethnicity, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, and disability status.

Makes compliance with demographic data requests entirely voluntary and prohibits public release of information that identifies specific judges or justices.

Mandates submission of an annual report by March 15 to the legislature and governor containing aggregated statistical data broken down by specific court type and jurisdiction.

Report must include separate demographic charts for each court level (Court of Appeals, Appellate Division, Supreme Court, Family Court, District Courts, etc.) with additional sub-charts showing appointed versus elected judges where applicable.

Requires use of United States Census Bureau racial and ethnic categories in reporting and mandates disclosure of the percentage of judges and justices who declined to respond.
