Gregory Dunlavey (hired July 19, 2010) and Angelo Pisani (hired February 7, 2007) may apply to retroactively elect the District Attorney Investigators 20-year or 25-year pension plan effective from their respective hire dates.

Both individuals must file their applications with the New York City Employees' Retirement System within one year of the act's effective date.

Members must pay all additional employee contributions retroactively, including foregone interest, prior to retirement.

The City of New York bears all employer past service costs associated with the retroactive membership and may amortize these costs over a ten-year period.

The act takes effect immediately upon enactment.
