Reclassifies predatory sexual assault against a child from a class A-II felony to a class A felony.

Establishes a mandatory minimum sentence of 25 years imprisonment (with maximum of life imprisonment) for the crime of predatory sexual assault against a child as defined in section 130.96.

Removes predatory sexual assault against a child from the class A-II sentencing guidelines that previously allowed 10-25 year minimums for repeat offenders and certain circumstances.

Applies determinate sentencing requirements to the class A felony of predatory sexual assault against a child, including post-release supervision.

Takes effect November 1 following enactment, with certain provisions subject to expiration dates under existing law.
