Congratulates Makenzie Kellogg of Burdett, New York, a member of Girl Scouts of America Troop 40170, for receiving the Girl Scout Gold Award, Scouting's highest honor.

Recognizes Kellogg's Gold Award Project titled "Girl Power Up," which addressed training and injury issues specific to female athletes and was inspired by her own serious cross country running injury.

Notes that the Girl Scout Gold Award, established in 1980, requires fulfillment of five requirements including designing and completing a project that serves the community and provides lasting benefit.

Honors Kellogg as a credit to her family, school, community, and state who has lived up to Scouting's ideals and achieved all necessary accomplishments.

Directs transmission of an engrossed copy of this resolution to Makenzie Kellogg.
