Amends the Social Services Law definition of "victim of domestic violence" to include persons whose family or household members commit identity theft, grand larceny, or coercion against them.

Expands the list of qualifying crimes from acts like assault, stalking, and strangulation to now include the three additional financial and coercive offenses.

Maintains existing requirements that the act(s) result in actual physical or emotional injury or create substantial risk of harm to the victim or victim's child.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
