Amends Labor Law Section 198(3) to add language clarifying there is no exception to liability for unauthorized failure to pay wages, benefits, or wage supplements.

Establishes a six-year statute of limitations for wage theft actions, with the limitation period tolled from when an employee files a complaint with the commissioner or the commissioner begins an investigation until the investigation concludes.

Allows employees to recover full wages, benefits, wage supplements, and liquidated damages accrued during the six years prior to filing an action, whether brought by the employee or the commissioner.

Requires employers to provide employees with sufficient information to understand how their employment compensation is calculated.
