Amends Section 5-1.4 of the Estates, Powers and Trusts Law to establish a presumption that divorce revokes provisions benefiting individuals in relationships based on the marriage.

Extends the revocatory effect to include stepchildren, stepgrandchildren, and parents-in-law of the divorced individual.

Allows the presumption to be overcome only by substantial evidence demonstrating the divorced individual's contrary intention.

Permits testimony regarding the divorced individual's contrary intention despite CPLR 4519 restrictions, provided the testimony is supported by other corroborating evidence.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
