Amends the town law to add preservation of lands necessary to protect fisheries and water dependent uses essential to maintaining and enhancing maritime heritage as a permissible use of community preservation funds.

Removes existing restrictions on farm buildings and structures used for marketing farm products that required at least 50 percent of gross annual income to result from sales of products produced on the agricultural lands.

Renumbers existing subsection (n) regarding greenbelt establishment to subsection (o) to accommodate the new maritime heritage preservation provision.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
