Changes the requirement from conducting a study to preparing and submitting a report on homeless veterans in New York state, in consultation with the office of temporary and disability assistance, department of labor, and office of children and family services.

Report shall include analysis of veterans currently homeless or homeless within five years of discharge, gender breakdown, data on children of homeless veterans and their placement, military sexual trauma cases by gender, and unemployment rates for New York veterans.

Report must be delivered to the governor, speaker of the assembly, and temporary president of the senate by June 30, 2020, and updated every three years thereafter instead of every two years.

Report shall be publicly available and posted on the division of veterans' services website.

Adds a sunset provision requiring the act to expire and be deemed repealed on July 1, 2032.
