Amends the agriculture and markets law to include "solar" alongside oil, gas, and wind in the definition of exploration, development, and extraction activities, covering installation of fixtures and equipment necessary for solar energy production.

Specifies that conveyance of solar rights associated with land within an agricultural district does not constitute conversion to non-agricultural use, preserving agricultural assessment eligibility.

Specifies that conveyance of solar rights associated with land outside an agricultural district but eligible for agricultural assessment does not constitute conversion to non-agricultural use, preserving agricultural assessment eligibility.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
