Amends Public Health Law Section 4173 to allow the city of Jamestown to set its own fee for birth and death certificates, joining other jurisdictions with this authority.

Authorizes the city of Jamestown's local legislative body to set the fee for certifications of birth or death records, certified copies, certified transcripts, and searches with no record found.

Permits the city of Jamestown to set fees up to the maximum amount charged by the state health commissioner under Public Health Law Section 4174(2).

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
