Reduces the out-of-pocket cost cap for covered prescription insulin drugs from $100 to $30 per thirty-day supply for health insurance policyholders.

Cap applies regardless of insulin type, dosage amount, deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, or other cost-sharing requirements.

Amends insurance law provisions governing health maintenance organizations, non-profit health service corporations, and insurance corporations to implement the lower cap uniformly.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment and applies to any policy or contract issued or renewed on or after January 1, 2021.
