Commissioner of Labor, in consultation with the Commissioner of Health, must maintain and annually update a list of healthcare positions with substantial staff shortages statewide and by region, published on the department's website.

List of shortage positions must be established within 60 days of the law's effective date.

Commissioner of Labor shall establish a program providing expedited training and certification processes for the healthcare positions on the shortage list, available to eligible unemployment claimants.

Program information must be published on the department's website and the program must be established within 180 days of the law's effective date.

Act takes effect immediately upon enactment.
