Establishes a New York food supply working group coordinated by the commissioners of agriculture and economic development to address food shortages, food waste, and supply chain issues resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Working group membership includes representatives from farmers, food processors, retail businesses, restaurants, wholesalers, transporters, labor organizations, food banks, academic experts, and federal agencies.

Working group must convene by May 1, 2021 for public roundtable meetings in different regions of the state to address strengthening farm and food supply resiliency and developing new state and federal laws and policies.

Working group must submit a written report with findings and recommendations to the governor, speaker of the assembly, and temporary president of the senate by December 1, 2021, and publish the report on the department's website.

Act takes effect immediately upon passage.
